Marking books?
This image is by a former pupil of mine. He drew it in his rough book during a particularly dull English lesson of mine way back in the depths of time.
His name is Jon Samson and, after school, he trained as and became a professional graphic designer. He scanned this image from the original and then enhanced it. I was delighted to receive it many years later.

Cover Image
A few years ago now, Jon Sampson kindly sent me a set of images to use on my Facebook page. Jon is a professional graphic designer and a former pupil of mine.

Chalk dust
Another of Jon’s rough book images. He caught me in the act of blowing the chalk dust off the board rubber. It was an accustomed action with me back then.

Four images to accompany the ‘Teacher Types’ article
These articles were written for a teachers’ magazine and the magazine commissioned these drawings. I think they’re brilliant as he/she had clearly read and understood the articles. I wish I could give a credit here but I was never told who drew them.
Neanderthal Man
This article was written for what was then the ATL magazine. This picture to accompany the article was commissioned by the magazine. Alas, I do not the name of the artist.

All other images have been taken from royalty-free sites on t’internet. I hope not to have infringed anyone’s copyright. If I have, let me know and I will resolve the issue post-haste.
I’d be delighted to receive details of the magazine designers mentioned above.
